Autrefois les herbalistes et les sages femmes n’avaient pas de livres ni de flores botaniques. Les plantes médicinales et magiques avaient des noms colorés et descriptifs. Souvent, les grimoires utilisent les noms vernaculaires au lieu des noms latins et ce peut être difficile.
